Our ham will be the showcase at gatherings of family and friends. Always incredibly versatile, it can be served in a formal setting, simply sliced for sandwiches or used as an ingredient in your favorite hearty soups. Each ham is hand selected, trimmed and then slow smoked with the finest hickory chips (dried sapwood) that we source locally. This ensures sweet, aromatic flavors and succulent moist meat.
While many folks serve a whole ham as a special treat for holidays and other grand occasions, in our house we like to have it at least every couple of weeks. Our favorite way to prepare it is probably one of the simplest (short of just slicing it right out of the package and munching it down). We top it with dark Maple Syrup, sprinkle it with just a little brown sugar, mustard powder, pepper and thyme and then roast it in the oven until it's a crusty golden brown. Delicious!
